The service
Real Tap Tempo is a free tool for finding a track's tempo (BPM) by tapping, listening via your microphone, and practicing with a built-in metronome. It's provided "as is," free of charge, with no account required. We don't guarantee the tool will be available at all times or that its readings will always be perfectly accurate — tempo detection, especially from a microphone, is inherently approximate.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its intended purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the service in ways that would degrade it for other users.
No warranty, limitation of liability
Real Tap Tempo is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aren't liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including reliance on a BPM reading for professional or performance purposes.
